The last day to register to vote in the November 7 municipal election is Friday, according to the Robeson County Board of Elections.

But those who don't register in time can get another chance through early voting, which begins October 19.

All registration forms must be postmarked by October 13 and arrive at the Board of Elections no later than October 18, or brought into the Board of Elections in order to be eligible to vote in the upcoming election. You may register to vote at the local board of elections. The budget will be presented to the Ashtabula County Board of Commissioners at an October 23 work session.

What that means for you: If you haven't already registered, now's the time to do so! In Cayuga County, the board's office is located at 157 Genesee St.in Auburn.

"Absentee voting is a great option that allows Virginians to participate in the upcoming election even if they are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day".

As for who's running in the general election, the big race is for New York City mayor: Bill de Blasio is running against Republican challenger Nicole Malliotakis, with several third-party candidates-including Independent Bo Dietl and the Green Party's Akeem Browder-also on the ballot.

New Yorkers can check the status of their voter registration and political party affiliation here or by calling 1-866-VOTE-NYC.
