Diafra Sakho is set to be offered another chance to prove himself in a West Ham United shirt according to manager Slaven Bilic. However West Ham did not allow the move to take place.

Sakho will get his first chance as West Ham United welcome Steve Mounie's Huddersfield to the London Stadium in search of their first English Premier League win on Monday night.

He told West Ham TV: "The whole situation is better than it was, a few weeks ago. He did that against Swansea, so I'm very pleased for him".

Conceding just one goal in the three-and-a-half matches he has played, Pope has helped Burnley move up to sixth.

The evidence of eight points from four away matches this term would suggest that Dyche has solved that problem, and Burnley's start to this season has been so impressive that they return from the worldwide break way up in sixth place in table. "Last year, they were playing more on reaction than action, but they have changed it".

'It's impossible to play them all, of course, but this is the first time we have the possibility to play the team we were thinking about in pre-season.

However, last month they won three of five fixtures while keeping four clean sheets and now James Collins, who has an ankle injury, is their only confirmed absentee for tomorrow's trip to Burnley.

Most recently observers have questioned his value to West Ham and whether Jack Butland should replace him with England, but Bilic said: "I think you don't appreciate him". "It's unrealistic for me to say that we knew it was going to happen because we didn't".
