New PS4 Controllers Revealed - Nacon, HORI and @PLAY

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed three new officially licensed controllers for its hit system. Even the touch pad is there, sort of: there's a dedicated button to simulate a click on top of the controller, and a "TP" button on the bottom that lets you use control sticks to simulate the gestures. Sony says that these controllers will be a good solution for those who have small hands as well as those who have a "unique grip". This cute controller saves on space by shrinking down the DualShock 4's touchpad to button size.

PS4 Revolution Pro Controller creator Nacon has designed a range of wired compact controllers (see picture below), launching in November in black, blue, grey, orange and red.

Next is the @PLAY Wired Compact Controller, which features a d-pad and joysticks reminiscent of the Xbox 360's.

Sony said Hori's gamepad, out on 6th November, is "an ideal introductory PS4 controller for young players", and called its design "retro inspired".

If you've been looking for new ways to play your PlayStation 4, then you are in luck.

For now, these controllers have only been confirmed on the European PlayStation Blog, with no mention of them on its U.S. counterpart.

But it's Hori's mini gamepad that stands out because it reminds us of a Joy-Con. We'll keep an eye out for word on whether or not these are coming to the U.S., so stay tuned for more.
