'They are a strong side, ' Wenger said of Watford, who are now eighth in the league having only lost one game this season.

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has explained how Arsenal could win the Premier League, but only if one thing at the club was different.

Tottenham never won a trophy under Redknapp, but beat Inter Milan in thrilling fashion at White Hart Lane in October 2010.

"People say [Redknapp] is a wheeler-dealer and it's so disrespectful", Merson said on panel show A League Of Their Own.

Wenger's men travel to Watford on Sunday after the global break.

'Marco has impressed me because he plays good football - it's been a very good start.

Meanwhile, the Sky Sports Soccer Saturday pundit is set to play for a third tier Welsh club on the outskirts of Cardiff.

PAUL MERSON has taken aim at Arsene Wenger yet again - this time claiming Arsenal would win the Premier League if the Frenchman had the "tactical nous" of Harry Redknapp.

He said: "Winning the league at Portsmouth".

"We won our first game at home and I thought we'd be alright and then went to Crystal Palace".

"We were 2-0 down at half-time and it could've been 10-0".

Merson then revealed the moment he knew Redknapp was a great manager.

"I think top four is an achievement now, certainly for Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal".

"That's when I knew he was a great manager".
