Arsenal fans may sometimes be a bit down on the France global striker, but Olivier Giroud will be the toast of his nation this week after scoring the second goal, and what turned out to be the victor, in their final World Cup qualifying match, but will it be enough to convince Arsene Wenger to give the big centre forward a rare Premier League start when Arsenal travel to Watford on Saturday?

And according to Calciomercato, Giroud may be offered an Italian escape route in the coming months.

The French global has recently insisted that rejecting an approach from Everton was the right decision, but the 31-year-old is yet to start a game in the Premier League this season.

The Frenchman came close to joining Everton in the summer but turned down the move in favour of staying with the Gunners, and this week revealed he made the right choice as the Toffees have struggled so far this season.

The publication claim Inter Milan and Juventus are interested in the former Montpellier man.

CalcioMercato claim Giroud is being targeted by Juve as a replacement for Mario Mandzukic, while he would add to Inter's options up front if he was to move to the San Siro, with Mauro Icardi now their only recognised striker.

Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Juventus and Inter Milan.

"I had the opportunity to leave [Arsenal]", Giroud told French TV station Canal Plus. "But I think I made the best choice".

His side take on Watford this weekend.
