How to Watch Honduras vs. Mexico

Australia's inter-confederation playoff opponent has been determined in the final games of CONCACAF qualification on Wednesday morning (AEDT), with Honduras being the team to beat if the Socceroos want to get to the World Cup.

U.S. lost 2-1, Panama lept to third and an automatic qualifying spot by beating second-placed Costa Rica 2-1, while Honduras upset first-placed Mexico 3-2 to seal the half-qualifying fourth spot vs Australia.

Mexico came back to defeat Trinidad & Tobago 3-1 on Friday, while Honduras suffered a heartbreaking 1-1 draw at Costa Rica on Saturday, as Kendall Waston netted a dramatic late equalizer to secure Costa Rica's spot at next summer's World Cup.

Romell Quioto will be one of the main players to watch for Honduras in this game as the Houston Dynamo man has already scored three goals in these qualifiers.

Mexico has long guaranteed not only participation in the World Cup, but also a victory in the selection, but it does not stop to gain points steadily.

The results, combined with the USA's stunning 2-1 loss to Trinidad and Tobago - just the Caribbean side's second win of the campaign - means the Americans have been relegated to the role of spectators next June.

Honduras cannot beat Mexico in 6 extreme fights, twice in a draw and 4 games losing. Oribe Peralta opened the scoring for Mexico, Alberth Elis equalised, then Carlos Vela restored Mexico's lead before an own goal from Guillermo Ochoa. For the hosts this game is decisive, and the guests in it will play in their pleasure.

With so many moving parts at play, Honduras had no choice but to push forward and attack Mexico's back line in hopes of making magic.
