A Wagon R vehicle, used by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal till the 2015 assembly polls, was stolen outside the Delhi Secretariat on Thursday, the police said.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader's blue WagonR was stolen from near Delhi Secretariat, reported ANI.

A First Information Report has been filed.

The Wagon R, gifted by an Indian living overseas, was dubbed the "AAP Mobile" and got plenty of mileage in the news when the Chief Minister used it to camp and sleep in during a controversial protest against the Delhi Police in 2014.

In 2015, the auto made headlines when Sharma demanded from Kejriwal to return the vehicle. More details about the theft are awaited.

"India Today reported that "(Vandana) Singh lodged a police complaint at the IP Estate police station saying that the auto was stolen".

The auto was known to make headlines when Kejriwal travelled in it to campaign for chief minister's post, which he won in Jaunary 2014, said India Today.
