All that is known for sure is Bryant sustained an ankle injury. Bryant remained on the field to finish the drive before being evaluated by trainers.

Bryant has been especially lethal with his legs, which also means he tends to take more hits given his physical run style.

For the season, Wolford had 947 passing yards with 8 touchdowns and only one interception. Clemson had score don their first two offensive possessions of the game in the first quarter, but the offense did enough to avoid a decent scare at home against Wake Fores, although Wake Forest scored a couple of touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Etienne, a freshman, had 67 yards rushing along with his touchdown.

Kelly Bryant sustained an ankle injury against Wake Forest.

Wake Forest fell to 0-22 against opponents who entered 5-0 or better. No matter, as Clemson's defense did what it usually does and kept the Demon Deacons in check.

Wake Forest quarterback John Wolford did not play because of a left shoulder injury.

Provided Bryant is unable to play in Week 7, Cooper seems likely to get the call in a game the Tigers should win regardless of their starting quarterback's availability. Hinton started three games previous in his college career. Clemson didn't look great offensively, but they didn't have to be to dominate Wake.
