"It is not dazzling skills, Harry is just brilliant at what he does and he is just one of the best out there".

"It is awesome to have that many caps", he said. To play for England was what other people did, and I just loved to support them.

"I played in front of Peter Shilton and for 90 minutes, he would rip your head off for a clean sheet. It is fantastic, every single time the whistle goes to start the game".

Hart admits he was given the flawless pick-me-up by England boss Gareth Southgate when he underlined that he was still his No.1 choice.

The West Ham goalkeeper is set to win his 74th cap against Slovenia at Wembley, where England will hope to nail down their place in next year's World Cup finals.

He adds: "Of course it is nice to hear".

"Whether the scrutiny or spread of the interest has increased worldwide, I am still interested in what my manager thinks and what my team-mates think". But we have dug deep recently since the last worldwide break and got seven points out of a possible 12, which may not be great if you are going to win the title but was important for us.

"I don't think he gets too busy as an England goalkeeper, certainly not in qualifying but I think he's got the concentration levels to pull off the big saves at the right times. I will keep working hard every day".

"I spoke to Joe a while back and I said to him that at the Euros last summer, the ball went into the back of the net against Iceland and he didn't get up and berate his back line", he said on The Debate.

Hart rejected psychological factors, and the often-cited suggestion that the Premier League is a hindrance, and joked that it is worrying that he continues to feel so confident in England, despite having no explanation for their continued disappointments.

"But we have dug deep and got seven points out of a possible 12 which may not be great if you are going to win the title but was important for us".

Hart feels his career might just be on an upward curve again, joking: "Yes, but it was impossible to get on a downward curve though!"
