Despite initial reports claiming JAY-Z and Beyonce were teaming up for a benefit concert in New York City in support of victims of Hurricane Harvey and Irma, a rep of the singer claims otherwise.

Artists from Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label will also perform, according to Us Weekly magazine.

Houston native Beyonce Knowles has been deeply affected by the hurricane that destroyed much of hometown.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are certainly set to do their bit for Hurricane Harvey relief with their forthcoming benefit concert that will see the latter return to the stage for the first time since giving birth to twins, and since the Grammys in February. Additionally, the Lemonade singer, her family, and Trae Tha Truth distributed meals to over 400 evacuees at the St. John's Church in early September 2017.

"This, today, is a celebration of survival". Houston is my home. "The things that really matter are your health and your children, and your family and your life". And even more straightforward, Bey's rep straight up denied to NY Daily News that she would be performing at the hurricane relief concert. Natural disasters don't discriminate.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z are set to headline a hurricane benefit concert in NY.

US Weekly first broke the news, stating that a fundraiser concert would take place on October 17, at the Barclays Center. He recently performed at V Festival in England and The Meadows Music & Arts Festival in NYC, and will kick off his world tour in Anaheim, California, on October 27. Ticket information for the benefit show has not yet been released, but the seats are sure to fill up fast, and for a good cause.
