Spicer on Sunday night appeared at the 69th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, in which he mocked his infamous post-inauguration press conference by insisting that the audience for this year's Emmys would be the largest ever.

Sean Spicer is suggesting his critics lighten up after facing pushback following the former White House press secretary's surprise appearance at the Emmy Awards.

Spicer told Fox News host Sean Hannity he had "no regrets" about his work at the White House.

Oof. So, it's no wonder people are PISSED at the Late Late Show host for planting a kiss on the former press secretary during the Hollywood bash. There were pictures all over Twitter of stars from all different TV shows taking selfies with the man who did his best impression of state TV propaganda from the podium for the first six months of the Trump administration. Most were angry by the "normalization" of Spicer, who once said Hitler didn't use gas on the Jewish people, going as far to call his gas chambers "Holocaust centers".

"It went against everything Colbert purports to do on his fiercely pointed 'Late Show, ' and retroactively sucked the air out of any biting Trump jokes he tried to make in his opening monologue", the site wrote. Just a reminder that you don't have to give it to him.

"Sean Spicer lied for MONTHSSSS and now he's up there on the Emmys stage", said one tweet.

"Now, I know you think that's a picture of me kissing Sean Spicer", Corden explained. "Who are we talking about here?!" "I just happened to kiss the biggest one there", Corden quipped.

While most celebrities were shocked to see Sean Spicer at the 2017 Emmys - seriously, did you see Veep's Anna Chlumsky's face when Spicey came out? - there was one actor who was straight-up appalled.

He continues to skewer the moment and says that a lot of people were disappointed in the photo and are leaving harsh comments on Twitter. So much so I'm really starting to regret that Carpool Karaoke that we've taped with Steve Bannon.
