Trump Pegs Hillary Clinton With A Golf Ball In Retweet

President Donald Trump on Sunday hit back at former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, retweeting a GIF that was spliced from two videos.

The gif starts with Trump teeing off on the golf course and then cuts to a clip of Hillary Clinton tripping while boarding her plane in Yemen in 2011.

The tweet, which came as Trump prepares to head to NY for a critical round of powerhouse diplomacy with world leaders at the United Nations, followed a week during which Clinton reemerged in the spotlight as she promoted her new book, "What Happened", about the 2016 campaign, reviving her fiercest criticisms of Trump and his supporters and reigniting the debate about her stunning, unanticipated loss.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment Sunday about the President's tweet and whether Kelly was aware of it.

Back in July, Trump vented his rage against the media by posting someone else's doctored anti-CNN video that showed Trump pummeling a man in a business suit - the man's face obscured by the CNN logo - outside a wrestling ring. He is quick to challenge or criticize anyone or anything that might undercut that premise.

A third shared a GIF of Clinton hitting Trump where it hurts.

"Retweets do not equal endorsement", Urban said, laughing. "It doesn't help, I think, in terms of his stature. It doesn't help in terms of the stature of our whole country".

The act drew responses on Twitter that condemned Trump for inciting violence and unpresidential conduct, but some also said the post was amusing.

"Crooked Hillary Clinton blames everybody (and every thing) but herself for her election loss", Trump said.

"She lost the debates and lost her direction!"

Trump has come under fire before for his willingness to share tweets from followers, including an image showing him tackling a figure labelled CNN and tweeting, and later deleting, an image of a train striking a CNN reporter. "She spent big money but, in the end, had no game!"
