Which Chicago Bears RB is the better play?

The Falcons defeated the Bears 23-17.

Wondering about a player, a past game or another issue involving the Bears? It looks for the outliers and helps understand how they are doing it and if it can continue.

Apparently, that was enough for the rookie running back to compare himself and fellow Bears' backfield mate Jordan Howard to Cleveland Cavaliers' stars LeBron James and Isaiah Thomas in speaking to a group of reporters that included James Neveau of NBC Chicago following the Atlanta game. Against teams with weaker run defenses, Howard will be more productive with more touches and the majority of the workload in the running game, while Cohen is limited to third down conversions and pass plays that may result in fewer overall Fantasy points.

How did he get here?

He was second in rushing yards, fourth in yards per carry (5.2) and seventh in all-purpose yards.

To any skeptics who were on the fence about Cohen prior to Week 1, he more than validated his spot in the National Football League by his performance versus the Falcons. Cohen is just 5-foot-6 with a short wingspan. However, for the big-hands draftniks, Cohen had 10 1/8-inch hands, which is in the 95th percentile of the position, per Mock Draftable. On the other hand, size apparently doesn't matter.

The Bears picked Cohen in the fourth round due to his playmaking ability and natural instincts as a receiver.

During that same year, the team would be leading the San Francisco 49ers by the score of 20-13 and it was up to the defense to make another stand to win the game.

Loggains explained why the Bears kept Cohen on the bench. He will be counted upon all season - even more so now that Kevin White is on injured reserve - to generate explosive plays.

Veterans Dion Sims and Zach Miller have both earned the faith of starting quarterback Mike Glennon and could be used to beat coverages against a talented Bucs defense. That was evident in the fact that only five of Glennon's 40 throws traveled further than 10 yards in the air.

Will he set the mark?

That is what makes the NFL such a great game with these differing styles of way the franchises are ran, but still having the same goal when Sunday Night Football kicks off at 8:25 p.m. on NBC. He had five snaps at receiver, seeing targets on all of them (caught three). It's why Cohen has become a darling of social media, why his nickname is The Human Joystick and why his big plays look bigger than others players' big plays. Those numbers could improve if the team decides to use him more at wide receiver, particularly in the slot as healthy wide receivers will need to replace White (in addition to Meredith).

What does this mean for fantasy?

Cohen was a stud in the passing game.

Cohen's biggest play of the game was his 46-yard run on a toss play to the left.

"I feel bigger than everybody on the field, " he said Wednesday. Along with a handful of touchdowns, that would put Cohen in the top-24 conversation.

Is Cohen capable of being this good all the time?

It was a flawless throw by Glennon to keep Cohen running at full speed, which helped him truck Trufant at the goal line and get in for the touchdown.
