While Sanders and Trump may think America is on their side, the numbers say otherwise.

Comey's dismissal is widely believed to have led to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate the Trump campaign's alleged collusion with Russian Federation.

The former secretary of state's book, released Tuesday, offers Clinton's perspective on perhaps the most unconventional presidential campaign in modern USA history.

The president has said he's simply doing "what the people of the United States want to see".
