- Montgomery County police say the body of a missing pregnant teacher has been found and a suspect has been arrested for her murder.

Wallen's family last heard from her when she sent a text message September 4 that concerned them enough that they called police, police have said.

Laura Wallen was last seen at her condo in Olney on the morning of Monday, Sept. 4.

Wallen had last contacted family members by text message on September 4.

Before the arrest was announced, FOX 5 asked police if foul play was suspected.

As of 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Duke Energy reports 37,000 outages in SC. The SUV wasn't far from Wilde Lake High School, where Wallen teaches in the Social Studies department.

Wallen was four months pregnant, and her family said she was excited about it and posted her sonogram on her refrigerator. She did not request a substitute teacher for that first day, which anxious her family, her father Mark Wallen said Monday.

"Laura, if you are listening, it doesn't matter what's happened, it doesn't matter what type of trouble, there is nothing we can't fix together - myself and your family", said her boyfriend, Tyler Tessier. "I pray that she's safe and that she comes back".

This is a developing story.
