Next year's Hellboy reboot is underway and today, the first image was revealed of Stranger Things' David Harbour as the movie's titular character.

Look familiar? Harbour is the second actor to play Hellboy in live action in a major film, with Ron Perlman having previously taken up the mantle in Guillermo del Toro's two Hellboy films.

For those not in the know, Hellboy was created in 1993 by writer-artist Mike Mignola. As he grew older, Hellboy was trained as an agent of the BPRD assisting a wide array of human and nonhuman agents in their efforts to protect the Earth from all manner of supernatural forces.

The reboot, to be directed by Neil Marshall, best known for his work on "The Descent" and "Game Of Thrones", will be titled: "Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen", and this new shot with Harbour in full makeup is sure to get "Hellboy" fans excited. The film has not been without its fair share of controversy, though. The film also stars Daniel Dar Kim, Ian McShane and other people I can't look up because it seems the IMDb page for this movie just went haywire because this image looks so great.

Holy crap! Your first look at the new Hellboy is here!

Hellboy opens on January 11, 2019.
