Then, they will have a off-day on Friday before continuing the three game series with the Marlins.

The Boston Red Sox open at Tampa Bay for four games, then stay in Florida for two games in Miami before playing their home opener at Fenway Park on Thursday, April 5 against the Rays.

In interleague play, Philadelphia will face off against every team in the AL East. The 2018 season is the positive right now, as 2017 has not been exactly what the Braves wanted as we sit at 65-78.

Major League Baseball announced next year's schedule this afternoon, and it features the Nationals opening March 29 in Cincinnati.

This will be only the second time in 14 seasons of existence the Nationals face a non-NL East opponent on opening day.

The annual Phillies Phestival is scheduled for Thursday, June 21. They play host to the Orioles, Red Sox, Yankees, and Blue Jays while facing the Rays, Orioles, Red Sox, and Blue Jays on the road. The New York Yankees will visit Citizens Bank Park on June 25-27. The Nationals play at Toronto from June 15-17, their first trip north of the border since 2012. The Nationals will conclude the 2018 home slate with a six-game homestand against the Mets and Marlins (Sept. 20-26), and will finish out the regular season with a three-game road trip to Colorado.

Hopefully, the Braves will be fighting for a division title come September 2018 and if it does come down to the last series, the Braves will face a division rival in the Philadelphia Phillies, but on the road.

The Nationals will also host the All-Star Game next season on July 17.

After that season opener series, the team heads up to NY where they will face the Mets for another three-game series at Citi Field.
