A tweet from the devs after the announcement indicates that the game will be on these platforms first, but not exclusively, so hold out for that PS4 release.

Despite the fact that today's Apple Event is mainly focused on all things Apple, the video game developer actually made an appearance during the event to announce their new game called Sky. "The day has finally come for us to start sharing our next project to the world... and we do so with more than a few butterflies in our stomachs and plenty of joy". And while it's coming to iPhone and iPad, it's the Apple TV 4K version that's getting the most attention lavished upon it. Sky is a romantic-social adventure game where players explore by flying through the clouds of a mysterious world.

If you're unfamiliar with Thatgamecompany, they've been around for just over a decade and are known for creating games with a heavy emphasis on art and emotions.

Thatgamecompany's previous games include Flow, Flower, and Journey, which we awarded Game of the Year back in 2012. "It's hard to summarize the game but I find giving to be a key element". Chen, who considers himself a games evangelist, wanted the company's next title to be on a platform that's largely accessible by most people, including non-console gamers.
