Stefon Diggs and the NFL's best Week 1 celebrations

Diggs is the first Minnesota receiver to score two touchdowns in a season opener since - you guessed it - Randy Moss.

New Orleans lined up with just 10 men on defense on the Vikings' first snap, the product of a miscommunication on the sideline.

Adam Thielen caught nine passes for 157 yards, and Stefon Diggs caught seven for 93 yards and two touchdowns.

Peterson, who is Minnesota's all-time rushing leader with 11,747 yards, finished with six carries for 18 yards in a timeshare with Mark Ingram and rookie Alvin Kamara. Diggs, who played his collegiate football at the University of Maryland, was originally selected by Minnesota in the fifth round (146th pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

New Orleans did not have any similar mistakes the rest of the game.

"Obviously we settled for too many field goals offensively, and then all of the sudden, got into catch-up mode", Saints coach Sean Payton said. He's been a big part of CenturyLink's local television campaign - "They have some more confidence in me now", Diggs said of his expanding acting roles in the commercials.

The revamped offensive line helped the Vikings average 4.3 yards per carry, while allowing only one sack. They played fast. They played confident. I thought the tempo was great tonight. "Legs are very delicate - injuries happen". Moss is second to former teammate Cris Carter in receptions (587), receiving yards (9,316) and receiving touchdowns (92) from his eight seasons in Minnesota.

We already saw Diggs' excellent Moss-themed cleats before the game.

Randy Moss ended his induction ceremony into the Minnesota Vikings Ring of Honor by giving a loud chant of SKOL, which was answered by the awesome fans in attendance and followed by an overwhelming chorus of applause. Thielen did whatever he wanted; the entire Vikings offense did for that matter.
