Sister Margaret Ann, wearing her nun's habit, was caught on camera using the heavy equipment to help clear a tree toppled by the ferocious storm.

An off-duty Miami-Dade police officer stopped to shoot video of Sister Margaret Ann, of south Florida.

The Miami-Dade Police Department left a comment with the video of Facebook.

In an interview with CNN, Sister Margaret Ann told host Erin Burnett why she made a decision to pitch in. "So I wanted to help out".

"There was a need, I had the means, so I wanted to help out", Sister Margaret Ann said on CNN.

When it comes to neighbors helping neighbors it doesn't get much better than this. So she found a chainsaw and got to work.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, some commenters on the nun's video also raised concerns and said it is risky to wear loose-fitting clothing while operating a chainsaw. "That's what we do", she said.

The risky task of storm cleanup should be handled with many precautions including the risk of encountering electrical fires and fallen wires.
