This is not the first leak about Star Wars Battlefront 2 and this will not be the last one.

Some_Info has a good reputation when it comes to leaking information for Battlefront 2.

The Redditor previously showed screenshots of the closed alpha before it was announced. That means all three eras will feature in the beta, and you'll also be able to play in co-op mode.

Maps: Galactic Assault on Theed (40 players), Space Battles on Fondor (24 players), Strike on Takodana plus.

First, the post confirms some details we already knew. Skirmish was a co-op-focused mode in the original game that featured modified maps and an arcade-style scoring with power-ups and weapon pickups. Skirmish will contain solo, split-screen and cooperative mode for two players to blast through.

As far as playable heroes, the same roster show at E3 will be making a return with no changes.

As for what hero characters you will get to play, we will be getting the same ones we saw at EA Play earlier this year, so prepare for plenty of Darth Maul and Rey appearances. It also seems that the remaining details about what's included in the beta have been leaked, courtesy of Reddit user Some_Info. The Season Pass is now free on PS4 and Xbox One as part of their respective digital deals. The Reddit user also mentioned some graphical improvements compared to the E3 build, and about nine emotes for players to try out.

With Star Wars Battlefront II coming in a few months, EA DICE seems to be drumming up some hype for the upcoming title by reducing the prices of its predecessor, Star Wars Battlefront, on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One - especially if you are a member of either platform's paid subscription service. If you've pre-ordered the game, you'll be able to start playing it on October 4.
