Blessed with incredible depth, quality, and variety, Los Blancos have plenty of options to start each and every match. The famed "BBC" trio (Bale, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo) has been an integral part of Real Madrid's successes and triumphs in the last few years.

According to the report from Manchester Evening News, Mourinho still has his eyes set on Bale and Griezmann, but will choose one to fill the void he sees in his current squad in order to flawless his line-up.

The former Chelsea manager is reportedly a huge fan of the La Liga duo but is aware he may only have enough funds to bring in one of them.

In case you didn't know.

. Asensio has been in sparkling form for Real at the start of the new La Liga season. His versatility allows Real Madrid to build more attacks down the wing as opposed to a one-dimensional style of play which sees opportunities generate mostly through a central attack. However, last season the Wesh winger was out for long periods with injury which led to Isco deputising more than satisfactorily for Real Madrid.

The speculation over the summer that Manchester United wanted to prise the Welshman away from the Bernabeu gives the story a bit more credence, however it is far more likely that Bale will be dropped by Zidane for form and fitness reasons, plus the competition from his peers, rather than the rumoured wishes of Ronaldo. However, a move did not work out and Bale will be looking to reintegrate himself to the starting XI and put in game-changing performances.

With Marco Asensio and Isco seen as the future of Madrid and a number of talented youngsters coming through the ranks, Bale could be shipped off and United have been interested in the ex-Southampton defender for some time.
