The incident occurred on Tuesday evening while shooting for the film Pari at Kaliberia village in South 24 Parganas village near Kolkata Leather Complex Police Station.

The officer believes that the deceased, Shah Alam, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, had mistakenly touched the live wire in a bamboo bush. "The shooting was carried out at a bamboo plantation near a banyan tree and lights had been put up for the objective".

As per the investigation by the police officials, the technician must have touched a live-wire, which electrocuted him. The body has been sent for post-mortem and we are waiting for the report. He died of electrocution, and was carried to the hospital where he was declared "brought dead".

Police have taken statement from most of the witnesses present at the location.

Pari starring Anushka Sharma had created quite a stir with its first look, where Anushka Sharma was nearly unidentifiable in the new look. But, something very unsafe happened recently on a Hindi film set that has left everyone in shock. "We are looking into the matter".

Anushka Sharma has been shooting for the film in Bengal's Bojherhat area for the past three days.

"In a very unfortunate incident, while shooting yesterday, we lost one of our unit members, Sh". We are collaborating with the authorities and his family to make requisite arrangements for his last rites.

Considering it happened under her production house, we wonder what Anushka Sharma has to say about the whole incident.
