JAY-Z recently dropped his latest album 4:44, but he's just shared some additional new material in the form of a poem dubbed "Dream. On".

"Dream On" was released in collaboration with Budweiser in preparation for the upcoming Made In America Festival. Plus, the fact that Jay-Z basically epitomizes the rags-to-riches story helps imbue the inspirational message with credibility.

In the poem, Jay talks about his life growing up in the Marcy Houses of Brooklyn. "It takes tears, sweat, blood, five CCs", the rapper says. "Heaven knows, all I had was hella hope / Speed dating with destiny, I couldn't tell her nope". The video complements the words with simple footage of a humble apartment. It'll air before his headlining set at the festival, which will also feature Solange, Rung the Jewels, J.Cole, Stormzy, and more. In one fell swoop, Jay-Z cemented himself as the pinnacle of ambition, the product of hard work and dedication.
