"Strictly Come Dancing" will return to television screens on September 9.

One picture shows presenter Debbie McGee, TV chef Simon Rimmer and broadcaster Rev Richard Coles peering from between some enormous blue and white plumes, while another sees actress Gemma Atkinson, Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins and actress Chizzy Akudolu show off glittering dresses in black and gold.

She refused to say who her favourite was, but said she'd need someone 'quite tall'.

As is tradition, the Saturday 9th show will be the pre-recorded episode where we see the celebrities training for the first time, and then being coupled up with their professional partner.

Shocked by his comments, Charlotte responded: "Yeah, well, thanks for that!" Charlotte replied. "Got that to look forward to!" Sorry to my husband if you're watching'.

Refusing to back down, Judy Finnigan's husband declared: "It's called the curse of Strictly, isn't it?" Her first single after winning the show was Bad Boys with Flo Rida which was a success debuting at number one in the United Kingdom singles chart and selling almost one million copies as well becoming a platinum single.

Charlotte added awkwardly: 'Well I think there seems to be a few instances of it in the past but I'm told that's coincidence'.

The new series will also feature a special tribute to Sir Bruce Forsyth - who sadly passed away at the age of 89 last week - and the dancer have already started rehearsing the "heartfelt" performance to celebrate his life and his 10 years co-hosting the programme. I love this show and have followed it from the beginning, so being able to be a part of it is just a dream come true for me - I still can't believe it!

ALEXANDRA BURKE is the fifteenth and final celebrity contestant confirmed for the brand new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
