Monaco's ultras have delivered a firm message to Kylian Mbappe, insisting that they are concerned about reports of his excessive wage demands.

The Parisian giants have already signed Brazilian superstar Neymar from Barcelona for a world record fee of €222 million this summer, and reports on Monday suggest PSG are nearing another nine-figure deal with Monaco for the France global forward.

Mbappe has been the subject of intense transfer speculation all summer, with interest from a string of top clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Mbappe will reportedly cost close to €140m if he does sign for the capital club, with Brazil worldwide Lucas Moura potentially heading the other way.

The France worldwide played in Monaco's first two league games of this season, but was benched for their third and completely missed the fourth after manager Leonardo Jardim sent him home from training after an apparent falling out.

The deal will see PSG give Monaco £128m plus Moura for Mbappe, with team-mate Fabinho joining in a separate deal that value all three players at just over £200m. We closely observe Monaco's news.

"These last few days, we have learned with stupefaction and indignation the numbers spoken about by the media concerning Kylian Mbappe, but also about his salary demands to extend his contract with our club". We consider that no one player deserves so many millions of euros. We can not accept such behaviour and wage demands when he has not proved anything over a decade of matches at a professional level.

And Fabinho is also pushing for a Monaco exit after a training-round bust-up. "Since their arrival, they have proven their competence and we fully believe in them to fight for a team capable of defending our crown, with or without Mbappe".
