Everyone is freaking out over that episode of 'Game of Thrones'

In an interview with Deadline, "Beyond the Wall" director Alan Taylor, who has directed episodes of Game of Thrones since the first season, said nobody should be surprised that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen seem likely to get together.

The big battle between the humans and undead. Season 7 episodes have averaged more than 10 million live viewers, a series high, and episode 5, "Eastwatch", was the highest-rated installment ever despite being readily available online ahead of time.

"My dragon could not have died for nothing, so this is now so important", she said.

However, in Beyond The Wall Drogon, the dragon Daenerys rides, allowed four burly men and a captured wight to climb on its back without making a fuss. Daenerys's older brother Rhaegar impregnated Lyanna Stark (after a secret annulment and remarriage, according to Gilly), who then gave birth to Jon, according to the famous tale of R+L=J.

Weta Digital is listed in the show's credits as having created visual effects for Beyond The Wall, the current season's sixth episode, which screened here in New Zealand on Monday night.

"We were aware that timing was getting a little hazy". Even discarding the fact that it's a fantasy show and we shouldn't take it seriously, when a series sets rules for itself it should follow them lest it get bogged down in plot holes like this. In terms of the emotional experience, [Jon and company] sort of spent one dark night on the island in terms of storytelling moments. For those that haven't watched the episode just yet, this is where you should leave if you are concerned about SPOILERS, because they are coming very soon. But, I don't know what's going to happen next season.

Mashable has stated that they didn't attempt to log in due to legal reasons, however, considering that only last week was Game of Thrones' official Twitter account hacked, it's fairly believable. I still enjoyed it for what it was worth. "If the show was struggling, I'd be anxious about those concerns, but the show seems to be doing pretty well so it's OK to have people with those concerns".

For this exercise, we will be basing our character studies and examples primarily from the HBO version of Game of Thrones, although one character will be based on the book to make it a bit more fun (more on that later).
