All the posts, including profile pictures have been removed. She also blacked out her official website.

Fans have also dug up rumors that Taylor is going to release some big news Monday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Steve Bannon leaving the White House may have dominated the news cycle last Friday but another puzzling event occurred that made millions of #Taylor Swift's social media followers wonder, worry, and even react with panic.

Joseph Kahn, who directed the music videos for four singles off Swift's 2014 smash 1989 - "Blank Space", "Bad Blood", "Wildest Dreams", and "Out of the Woods" - subsequently retweeted the video, adding a smiley face. After months of publicly engaging in he-said/she-said/she-said statements over whether or not Swift gave her husband Kanye West permission to call her a "bitch" in his song "Famous", Kim Kardashian posted a series of videos of Swift appearing to give her blessing to the rapper over the phone.

Her fans can only hope so.

The chart topper sent her fans into frenzy after suddenly wiping out all of her social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr along with her YouTube channel. Swift counter-sued for only one dollar and won the case. She was not found liable for the DJ losing his job by the judge in the case.

The DJ was asked to pay Swift a symbolic $1 compensation. Is she finally teasing new music? While the singer's online purge is no foolproof way to foretell the arrival of the singer's next album, some suspect that Swift may debut her next song compilation in the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards 2017, which is happening on August 27.
