Bandai Namco has announced their upcoming Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, the newest entry in the Action Role-Playing Game. What we do know for certain, however, is that Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will arrive in Japan in 2018 and will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One systems. Sword Art Online's author Reki Kawahara is also supervising the game, with decisions such as determining the weapon types to be assigned to each character.

Bandai Namco have finally lifted the lid off of their secret Project1514 game which they were teasing earlier this week, unveiling Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet.

Both co-op and versus multiplayer are included, with battles against bosses or 4v4 matches between players.

Fatal Bullet is a third-person shooter RPG and the first Sword Art Online game based in the fictional Gun Gale Online virtual reality MMORPG, which is featured in season two of the Sword Art Online TV anime.

Of course, since Bandai Namco hasn't shared any information beyond just the trailer, we also don't know whether the latest Sword Art Online will be localized. Based on the names, this is where the whole sword/gun action hybrid comes into play. Stunning visuals also accompany this game thanks to the power of the Unreal Engine 4, which lends realism to the textures and materials, further immersing the player into the dynamic world.
