The trailer showcases the new Wildspire Waste environment, an arad desert region filled with a variety of new and returning monsters - including fan-favorites such as Barroth and Diablos. Called Wildspire Waste, the area is a "mostly dry expanse with swamplands". These magnificent beasts include the likes of the Kulu-Ya-Ku, a bird like creature that is often seen stealing other monsters' eggs from the Ancient Forest and Wildspire Waste. You take on a role as a Hunter sent out to track down and capture - or kill - the monsters that roam the world, so these creatures can be studied.

The new video features more of the creatures that will be coming to Monster Hunter: World that you'll likely come across when going on your adventures. However, don't let its choice in food deceive you, as it will charge at anyone or anything that enters its territory.

Play it for the first time at Gamescom 2017 next week.

I walked away extremely impressed by Monster Hunter: World, and it further cemented my opinion that the series belongs on consoles. Capcom is also working on bringing Monster Hunter XX to the Nintendo Switch in Japan but there are no plans for a Western release yet. The developer did note that a PC version will launch at a later date.
