It looks set to come in the 18,000-capacity Stade de Roudourou, in the tiny town of Guingamp which could fit its population twice over into the stadium, on the same evening that Neymar's former club Barcelona tackle Real Madrid in the Spanish Supercopa.

With the mundanity of transfer paperwork finally resolved, the 25-year-old Brazilian magician will line up for Paris Saint-Germain for the first time since his mind-boggling €222 million (approx RM1.13 billion) move from Barcelona.

"The federation is in contact with our Spanish counterparts".

However, it seems the striker has made a decision to stay in France and according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Mbappe wants to join Monaco's Ligue 1 rivals PSG this summer. I do not doubt that this will be quickly solved.

"I love football, because you make each other stronger", the German added.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have followed up their world-record signing of Neymar by landing French teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe for a staggering £160million.

So long as the document has been verified by the French FA (FFF) and League (LFP) by midnight on Saturday, which serves as a formality, Neymar will be able to feature in Brittany the following day.

PSG opened the season by beating Amiens 2-0 at the Parc des Princes last Saturday.

As for Real, says the Sun, their failure to lure Mbappe to Madrid could have consequences for one English club with the European champions expected now to "crank up their interest in Chelsea's Eden Hazard".

"We all want him in the starting eleven, he's a player we need in the group".

"If he decides to remain at the club, we will have a great player and if he leaves we will get his whole buyout clause paid in full".

And the mega £360m double swoop is set to turn Ligue 1 into a one-team procession while PSG aim to slay the best in Europe.

Leonardo Jardim's principality outfit will be expecting to make it two wins from two when they pay a visit to Dijon on Sunday.

"He's 20, which means two things: he has his whole future ahead of him but he has to show that he has the mental strength for a club as demanding as Barca".
