Actor who plays Bronn is paying the price of hurting Drogon!

A couple of fan favourite characters did manage to survive however, with Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) left in the river close to the fight. He was able to land his shot and Drogon flew down to the ground where Dany tried to remove the bolt from her dragon's chest/shoulder area. I expect the fifth episode will open with Jaime and Bronn prisoners of Dany and Tyrion Lannister left with a hard decision.

If any character on Game of Thrones has a 100% approval rating among viewers it's Bronn... or rather he had unanimous support before last week's explosive "The Spoils of War", where he got behind Qyburn's scorpion and fired a shot into the side of Drogon.

Hopefully Flynn's postman speaks to him once he realizes Drogon appears to be in relatively good health.

"I spent weeks on that sequence, but I was on the edge of my seat, the adrenaline was running - they really nailed it", Flynn said of the action sequence, quipping: "Although since the day the battle aired, I've been a little unpopular, I have to say".

"That one particular sequence was some of the most most exciting filming I've had", he admitted. You've got all this extraordinary excellence around you - people who have been training for months to get every little piece of their puzzle right; stuntmen, armorers, everyone.

Could Jaime be dead? And the connection they've made with their sense of humour'. "It's probably the coolest weapon I'm going to get to play with", he said. "He sees him as an underdog like himself".

Jerome was also asked about his fate on the show after the cliffhanger ending to the episode and if fans should be concerned for him. As she did that, Jaime saw an opening to attack the Mother of Dragons but just as he approached, Drogon turned his head around and shot out a breath of fire just as Bronn tackled Jaime into the nearby body of water.

"Yes, I shot that thing, so it was real".

Episode 5, Eastwatch, releases on Monday.

There are only two more episodes left this season after Sunday's episode so make sure you are not left out in the cold when everyone is talking about what happened on Game of Thrones at work on Monday morning. Stay tuned for our review.
