Operation Health was a deviation from the normal roadmap that Siege follows, delaying the Polish operators in favour of a plethora of bug fixes and maintenance to improve the longevity of the game.

Ubisoft has just announced the next chapter in their FPS game, Rainbow Six Siege. It doesn't hurt that Ubisoft are constantly updating the game with new content and working on bugfixes. We expect that news will come shortly after the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League finals which take place at Gamescom.

Although little is officially known about Operation Blood Orchid, today's brief teaser backs up previous leaks in recent weeks.

All three new operators will be available for season pass holders from the 29th August, while all other players will have to wait a week, being able to purchase them for in game currency on the 5th September. That said, more will be revealed the Pro League finals on August 26, including a live demo of the map. Two of these, codenamed "Dazzler" and "Caltrop", will be a part of Hong Kong's Special Duties Unit (SDU), while the third will be a female member of Poland's GROM counter-terrorism division.

The arrival of this expansion also marks the conclusion of Operation Health - an initiative in recent months to address the biggest issues plaguing Rainbow Six Siege. Titled Operation Blood Orchid, the major update will bring a new map set in Hong Kong, three brand-new operators, as well as new customization items to show off against opponents.
