Along with their invited guests, the newlyweds celebrated with an unknown couple who joined them at their New Jersey wedding reception for drinks, dancing and wedding cake.

When Karen Fox first spotted the uninvited guests at Sparta's Rock Island Lake Club that hosted her August 5 ceremony, she simply brushed them off as friends of her husband that she'd never met before, Parsippany Patch reported.

Instead, they are real-life wedding crashers.

On Aug. 7 Karen Fox Tufo shared a pretty sweet card and "gift" she received from an uninvited duo on her Facebook page.

They also left a $1 note inside the card for good luck and a Polaroid photo of the pair at the wedding.

The wedding crashers left the newlyweds a card reading: 'Dear Fox's, 1) Congratulations!

Tufo and her husband, Michael, told CBS that the wedding-crashing couple dominated the dance floor and was in every photo at the Sparta, N.J. celebration.

Any other couple would have easily been upset or angry, but Karen writes that she "wants to buy them a drink", after they no doubt had plenty of free beverages at the wedding.

But her best friend and maid of honor, Aimee Boardman, was always suspicious that the pair had been crashing - they made no efforts to hide the fact that they didn't belong, she explained.

Karen Fox described the gift as "the best wedding present anyone could ask for."

Tufo is even trying to find the mystery couple now, not to reprimand them for their sneaky activities, but to buy them a drink.

Her husband also put a call out on Facebook, saying: 'Anyone know them????
