Customers can download the NissanConnect App from the app store across Android, iOS and Windows. NissanConnect is an app that connects with the auto via a telematics control unit (TCU)-an embedded system that controls tracking of the vehicle.

According to Mr. Malhotra, the software application enables the new owner of Sunny, Terrano and Micra to locate the auto, plan trips better with weather information, faster route guidance, better control of the vehicle with voice alerts, speed alerts, movement of auto outside the set boundary or time and sharing of vehicle location among others.
