National Basketball Association 2K18 Prelude Demo Coming to Xbox One in September

There are significant updates coming to National Basketball Association 2K18 compared to previous versions in gameplay, career modes (most notably MyLEAGUE and MyGM), and graphics quality. They've also scanned all the new jerseys, accessories, and shoes, and expanded MyPLAYER customization. With "NBA 2K17", it was the college portion of the story that played out.

Presumably, the free NBA 2K18 Prelude demo will take the same shape as it did past year, enabling you to sample the early parts of Visual Concepts' latest basketball game, then port across your save data and progress into the full game when it launches later in September.

If you prefer the face scan option, Visual Concepts says it's been working on that too - but if it doesn't throw up increasingly terrifying horrors we'll probably be a little disappointed by the break in tradition. You can see nearly every little thread and stitch. They boast an nearly "unlimited amount of body types" and a mass of facial and other adjustment options.

You can check out the trailer for yourself below. The Prelude looks like it's only going to be on PS4 and Xbox One, sorry PC folks. Players who pre-order the game will get access from September 15.
