However, this doesn't mean that manufacturers who already launched their flagship smartphones this year don't have anything new to offer.

If this turns out to be true, it looks like Xiaomi is in plans to launch the Mi Note 3 earlier than its schedule as the Mi Note 2 was launched back in October past year. However, in case Xiaomi doesn't announce the device this month, it will surely unveil it next month, i.e - September. Interestingly the launch of Mi Note 3 this year is a little earlier than the previous model. Also, rumor has it that it will be a powerful handset with some great specs and features. It could be a 5.7-inch dual- curved screen with QHD resolution. In terms of storage, the Mi Note 3 might further arrive in two variants: a 6GB RAM variant and 128GB storage, and a second premium device which may have 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Following the footsteps of the Mi 6, the Mi 5X most likely offers 2X optical zoom and 10X digital zoom, which results in special effects like the Bokeh effect in portraits and clearer distant shots.

Although the tweet does not specifically talk about the Mi 5X, the mention of dual rear cameras only indicates that Xiaomi may bring the mini Mi 6 to India within the next month.

There's going to be a solitary 5MP front facing camera for selfies and videos. It features physical home-cum-fingerprint sensor on the front and a single camera-module on the back.

It will also come with the 4070mAh battery capacity and will have Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging technology. Xiaomi handsets are usually quite affordable. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core system on chip (SoC) and it runs on Xiaomi's native MIUI 8, which is based on Android Marshmallow. However, with this specs sheet, we should expect a higher price tag than usual.

Xiaomi is one of the most popular budget OEMs in the Indian smartphone segment.
