Ek Prem Katha pushes to stop open defecation

Varun Dhawan has joined the campaign #ToiletAaRahiHai, and posted a video of himself working out, where he is dying to go to the "Toilet" but can't as 3 more days to go for the film to hit theatres.

The makers have sent a press release confirming that Viacom18 Motion Pictures and KriArj had retained the distribution of TOILET: EK PREM KATHA in house contrary to reported market rumours. Talking about it, Akshay said: "Toilets can be such a taboo subject, but it's such an important part of everyday life that many of us take for granted". These toilets will help bring much needed sanitation across smaller villages in Jaipur, Delhi, Rewri, Mohali, Karnal, Panipat, Kota, Yamuna Nagar, Narnaul, Gurgaon and address the pertinent issue of open defecation.

The movie is set to release on Aug 11. Akshay Kumar's film is known to making 100 crore and beyond at the box office. Fans are eagerly awaiting this film which talks about the issue of open defecation and sanitation in the country.
