English Premier League club Liverpool have reached the Audi Cup final after demolishing German giants Bayern Munich 3-0.

Sturridge, who had only been on the field for 18 minutes before he was taken back off, was later confirmed to have sustained a thigh muscle injury.

"There's a little bit of tension".

We haven't had a lot of breaking in yet, we're in a similar position to Atlético.

"I'm feeling great. I put in the work this summer". I've not missed many sessions here, they have looked after me.

Rivalry with Bayern: "There is no problem with coming to Munich, I felt comfortable playing here, I came here with other teams and this hasn't got anything to do with Dortmund..."

The England striker came on in the 67th minute with his side 2-0 up thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and new signing Mohamed Salah and he chipped in a fine third only to hurt his thigh at the Allianz Arena.

Asked about the seriousness of Sturridge's injury, Klopp said: "I can't say. He has really prepared well, really well, so I hope this is just a small injury and that he can play again soon", Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp told reporters. You could see how fast he is. Liverpool will hope the diagnosis is not serious and will be buoyed by the forward's insistence afterwards that "it's nothing serious".
