Former NBA player Stephon Marbury is not happy with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the breadcrumbs they dished out to sign former NBA MVP Derrick Rose. Teams drafted point guards (Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers), and re-signed starters (Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans) and found veterans on the market (Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timberwolves). He signed for the league minimum $2.1 million this week.

Bledsoe's planned workout with James and Rose adds fuel to the rumors that he could end up in Cleveland. The Spurs, Knicks and Timberwolves are three teams that continue to surface in regards to Irving's next destination, but the Suns have recently emerged as a potential suitor for the Cavs point guard.

Marbury went on to call out James for not helping Rose get a better deal.

On Monday night, James took to Twitter to welcome his new teammate.

ESPN also claimed that the Los Angeles Lakers talked with Rose and tried to offer him "more playing time and money".

What should have grown into a budding rivalry between the Bulls and Heat never materialized, as Rose would play just 10 games over the next two seasons due to multiple knee injuries.

During the 2016-2017 National Basketball Association season, when he played for the New York Knicks, Rose averaged 18.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per 32.5 minutes of a game.
