In a move that will most likely win the company a Nobel Peace Prize, Chick-fil-A blessed the world with a new offering of large "Family Style Meals" and glorious new menu items to go along with them.

Chick-fil-A is testing the options in an effort to determine whether the Family Style Meals are to be offered in other cities.

Patrons will have the choice of one entree and two sides, along with eight rolls. Side options include bacon baked beans, a fruit bowl, mac and cheese, a salad, or the superfood side (kale and broccolini with dried cherries, nuts, and a maple vinaigrette dressing).

Customers can pick up to two sides and choose between 12 chicken strips, 30 chicken nuggets or four chicken breasts (either grilled or fried) for their entree. "Mealtime should be an enjoyable experience that brings family and friends together, not an extra stress in the day".

The new menu, which will be tested in Greensboro, North Carolina; Phoenix, Arizona; and San Antonio, Texas until November 18, was developed with the help of consumers, including parents, in Dallas. However, if feedback is positive, Chick-fil-A could roll the meals out nationwide.

Additionally, Chick-fil-A is testing Bacon Baked Beans and Mac & Cheese in the three cities. The mac & cheese features a blend of cheeses including cheddar, Parmesan and Romano.

Chick-fil-A has introduced several new items to its menu including macaroni and cheese, bacon baked beans and chocolate fudge brownie. Devoted to serving the local communities in which its franchised restaurants operate, and known for its original chicken sandwich, Chick-fil-A serves freshly prepared food in more than 2,100 restaurants in 46 states and Washington, D.C. They'll be available through the drive-thru or inside the restaurant, and in the near future customers will be able to order ahead of time through the restaurant's app.
