What is one of the most annoying features that you have encountered while using WhatsApp?

Users are however not able to continue playback when entering other apps. WhatsApp updates that are still on cards are live-location sharing, revoke/recall button, edit message feature and YouTube videos.

As of now if one wants to watch a video through WhatsApp, it automatically opens YouTube app, so users can view YouTube video.

The news arrives via WABetaInfo, which claims that WhatsApp is now testing the feature with a small number of users on iOS devices. Let us know in the comment section below.

WhatsApp will soon let you play videos from YouTube within the application itself. The report also says that the feature is now only available for Apple iPhone 6 or its higher variants. Additionally, you can also resize the video by pinching or you can also play videos in full-screen mode. This will save time of clicking the link and then directing to YouTube. This is because; these devices have significantly bigger screens, which is important for this particular feature to work well. But now, in the 2.17.40 version of the app for Apple iPhone, that is out in the App Store currently, WhatsApp will now reportedly test the in-app YouTube playback support as a hidden feature. Unless the Facebook owned company finds a problem with this feature or too many bugs are not found, we can expect the launch of the feature soon. As playing YouTube videos outside the app has been an annoyance for so long, we will eagerly wait to see the feature roll out widely.

Meanwhile, the company has finally released a bundle of new features for its iOS users.
