Roseville Gas Prices Send Motorists on the Road

Texas, TX, July 17- Average retail gasoline prices in Texas have not moved in the past week, averaging $2.04/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 13,114 gas outlets in Texas.

Fuel prices for the Houston area dipped again, leaving the regional average right at $2.00 per gallon, slightly cheaper seasonally than nearly historically low prices of a year ago.

Still, Bradenton-Sarasota prices are 1.5 cents a gallon lower than the same day one year ago, and are 15.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

Rockford's average per-gallon gas price is $2.18.

AAA found the price of self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.09 to as high as $2.40. That helped push oil prices higher last week, which puts upward pressure on prices at the pump. This is three cents cheaper than last week's average. Oakland- $2.97/g, down 1.4 cents per gallon from last week's $2.98/g.

Gas prices in Arkansas are rising slightly, which differs it from the national average where it keeps going down.

$2.02/g in 2016, $2.54/g in 2015, $3.44/g in 2014, $3.52/g in 2013 and $3.25/g in 2012.

DeHaan said a special meeting OPEC has scheduled for July 27 will be watched for any policy or production changes.
