On Sunday, someone broke into his office and left a "threatening note". Dean Heller (R-Nevada). A vocal critic of the Senate's ACHA rewrite - which, he argues, "they haven't changed" at all - Heller was targeted by a Donald Trump-friendly Super PAC back in June. A source told LasVegasNow that a threatening note was also left inside the office, however, authorities refused to confirm that.

Nevada Republican Senator Dean Heller confirmed Sunday that his Las Vegas office had been broken into over the weekend.

Heller is among a handful of Republicans who have come out against the Republican health care bill.

Heller's office would not comment on the break-in, saying, "We can't comment on/discuss ongoing investigations".

Widely seen as a potential dissenting voice on Senate Republicans' Obamacare repeal bill, Heller has faced constituent pressure in recent weeks to block the bill from receiving a vote in the Senate. "I can not support a bill that takes insurance away from tens of millions of Americans", he said at a press conference recently with Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval.
