Google Maps now showing travel time graph to destinations over the day

After all, we can't all afford the new Audi A8 that drives for you when in a jam. Many people have reached their destinations with the help of this navigating App. Google Map keep on incorporating new features for the ease of its users just like it introduced Parking Availability feature few month back.

In many areas the dependence on Google map is unparalleled, with satellite views, parking spots and live traffic updates.

Their latest is quite an innovative update from its basic mapping emphasis. Also, you never know if Google is already working on adding extra features like time saved stats to the graph.

The new feature has only hit Google Maps on Android smartphones. It pops up when you input directions.

A new graph shows traffic levels throughout the day on the route you're traveling. The Yellow colour is to mark moderate traffic on the route at the particular time, and the Red colour shows the high traffic in on the way.

The feature has already been rolled out to Android users while iOS users will have to wait for an unknown span of time to use the feature.

Pretty neat, especially when the difference in bar heights in the chart is significant, indicating you will travel much faster within the time slot that Google has chosen for you.

That being said, it certainly is a step towards planning your journey more efficiently. Lets expect it will be launched with improvements soon.
