The Blues will be travelling to China and Singapore, where they will face Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Inter Milan.

Do you think Chelsea should let Costa and Matic leave?

Diego Costa has never been a fan of the subtle approach. In January it nearly pushed him for a transfer to Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian, but he finished out the year and helped the Blues secure the Premier League title.

He scored 14 goals across all competitions for Atletico last season - with only Kevin Gameiro and Antoine Griezmann managing more. Whether the Blues send him out on a six-month loan and then sell him to the Spanish side is a question we will have to find out.

But Atletico's transfer ban put the buffers on a move to the Bundesliga.

The problem? Atleti are under a transfer embargo, meaning that Costa can not play for them until January.

So far this transfer window, the Blues have already lost out to Manchester United in the race to sign Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton, even though Chelsea matched Manchester Utd's £75 million bid.

Costa has been linked with a return to Atleti in recent weeks.

Last season, Costa was clearly the favoured striker, with Chelsea's second choice forward, Michy Batshuayi, only starting one game all season, whilst making 19 appearances from the bench, demonstrating that Conte will be looking to buy big in order to replace their star striker.
