Giving his opinion on the environment at Chelsea, the goalkeeper told his club's official website: "When I arrived I thought I would find a very good group, and I found it".

The France global officially joined the Blues in a deal worth £40m on Saturday, making him the West London club's second-highest signing behind Fernando Torres.

While Bakayoko has not yet pulled on the training kit, the Frenchman was a keen spectator as Antonio Conte put the boys through their paces at Cobham on Saturday.

Bakayoko becomes Chelsea's 3rd signing of the summertime after the arrivals of back-up goalkeeper Willy Caballero and centre-back Antonio Rudiger from Roma.

Given that Kante went on to sweep virtually every individual award while propelling the Blues to the Premier League title last season, it's safe to say expectations for Bakayoko at Stamford Bridge will be high.

Champion of England "Chelsea" has officially announced the transfer of midfielder "Monaco", Tamwe Bakayoko.

"As a Ligue 1 champion, I am even more determined to win as many championships as I can with my dream team Chelsea". My wish was to be at the best English club there is today.

"Now the work starts".

That would suggest that things are starting to move in the right direction for Chelsea, but instead The Sun claim that contract talks with Conte have stalled again which in turn has led to question marks being raised over his future at Stamford Bridge.

"I have the ambition to play as many matches as possible, to progress as much as I can with a great coach like Antonio Conte, and then I have the objective of taking part in the World Cup at the end of the season".

Costa switched nationality from Brazilian to Spanish in September 2013 so the money would be on him returning to Spain; although the riches of the Far East did entice former Chelsea player, Ramires.
