Brad Bird will again be directing and writing this Incredibles tale, which Lasseter described as "such a special story".

The original "Wreck-It Ralph" grossed more than $470 million in 2012 and received an Oscar nomination. See below for more on what we learned about the film on Friday at this year's D23 Expo.

The studio also revealed that Taraji P. Henson was on board to play new character, "Yesss", but we don't have any details about that character at this time. Starring as Yesss, she'll be a the guide who shows Ralph and Vanellope around the internet after they're accidentally uploaded to the world wide web. At tonight's panel at D23, the revealed that Ralph and Venelope will be visiting websites including sites for Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney Princesses. Auli'i Cravalho (Moana), Kristen Bell (Anna), Mandy Moore (Rapunzel), Kelly MacDonald (Merida), Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), Irene Bedard (Pocahontas), Linda Larkin (Jasmine), Paige O'Hara (Belle), and Jodi Benson (Ariel) came together to celebrate the newest edition to the Disney Princess squad: Vanellope von Schweetz. You can watch that right now in the embed below.

"These characters are really strong, they're really wonderful characters and we love to think of them way beyond just the movie that was made", Lasseter said. We see a bunch of people become Marvel characters, including Stan Lee? But as she interacts with them - in ways that in rapid succession lovingly skewer the history and tropes of Disney animated classics and princess - she develops a respect for them. But one thing they can all agree on is that there is this big strong man that shows up in her world, to which, Vanellope says yes.

Vanelleope wants to go mess with the Princesses, but they've entered a door guarded by (actual Star Wars) Stormtroopers.

That was just some of the news unveiled during the Pixar/Disney Animation presentation at D23, which also featured looks at Coco, The Incredibles 2, Wreck-It Ralph 2, Frozen 2 and more.

By the end of Wreck-It Ralph, both Ralph and Vanellope have found a sense of belonging in their respective games, but the dynamic duo will return for another adventure in Ralph Breaks the Internet.
