"Emmanuel, so nice to see you. this is so attractive", Mr Trump gushed, grinning broadly as he and First Lady Melania arrived to meet the French President and his wife Brigitte at Paris' historic Hotel des Invalides. "Trump telling France's First Lady "you're in such good shape" epitomizes men toeing the line between compliment & sexual harassment", he wrote.

Trump made the comment to the French first lady alongside French President Emmanuel Macron and American first lady Melania Trump, according to the video published by NBC News.

At a joint news conference on Thursday, the US President had suggested his decision to pull America out of the Paris climate accord could be changed. Though the pair have been terse with each other in earlier interactions, on this day they offered supportive comments to each other.

However, Donald Snr is also causing shock waves from across the pond following his "creepy" comment about the French First Lady, Brigitte Macron.

Also, Trump creepily told Macron's wife, "You're in such good shape", and later, "Beautiful".

Mr Trump and Mr Macron have had something of a mixed relationship during their young presidencies.

Trump has choice seating at the military parade, where Macron invited him as the guest of honor to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the US entry into World War I.

It seems no woman, no matter her station, no matter how official, no matter how much she might be, you know, married to thepresident of France, is safe from Trump's inappropriate appraisals.

On Thursday night, the couples dined together at a gourmet Eiffel Tower restaurant. He then turned to Emmanuel and said, "She's in such good physical shape", to which Emmanuel replied, "Yeah".

Meanwhile, Trump's visits to the Uk has been delayed to 2018, the White House confirmed.
