Ruben Loftus-Cheek is hoping to play regular football next season after completing his loan switch from Chelsea to Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

Loftus-Cheek, 21, has always been viewed as one of the most talented young prospects in England, per The Telegraph.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "I had the option of coming to Palace and I thought that it would be great for me".

Palace have made the midfielder their first signing of the summer, and Ruben will join up with new coach Frank de Boer as he looks to haul his new team clear of endless relegation battles.

Loftus-Cheek has invested his entire profession at Chelsea given that signing for them as an eight-year-old.

Loftus-Cheek has indicated in the past his desire to collect more first-team experience, new Palace manager Frank de Boer made the England youth global his first signing for The Eagles and he shared his excitement at playing more regularly at Selhurst Park.

The 22-year-old will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge on loan this season and the Baggies are keen to get him on board, reports have claimed.

The England under-21 team footballer has won the English Premier League (EPL) title with Chelsea twice in 2014-15 and 2016-17.

"I live not too far away, I was born in Lewisham and Palace are a good club". "Hopefully we can do well in the league and the cup competitions, so right now there are high hopes".
